Beth Ball Golf Tourney

The annual Beth Ball Golf Tourney is held at the beautiful 18-hole Emerald Hills Golf Club (GolfEmeraldHills.com) in Okoboji, IA located at 808 Highway 71 South, Arnolds Park, IA 51331. (map) Registration and lunch is at 11:30 am and shotgun start around 1:00 pm

The event will be a 4-person best shot format and is held in August each year to commemorate Bethany’s passing. The entry fee of $100 per player and includes your cart, green fees, lunch, donation, participation gifts, flighting, on course prizes, and lots of FUN. 

This year’s event will also feature TWO hole-in-one contests and a putting contest. There is also a silent auction with many great items available.

2023 was another big success, raising a record over $37,000!  It takes a great deal of support to reach these milestones. A BIG THANKS to everyone who has donated, participated in, or worked at the tournaments. In 2023, we had a record 29 Hole sponsors and 4 Event sponsors. Also, THANK YOU to our many auction donors that have helped with all the great prizes for the event. 

Our 2024 goal is $40,000.  You do not have to play to support the event.  You may simply DONATE or can provide silent auction items.

Participation has been at its MAXIMUM at each year’s event, so we encourage you to REGISTER EARLY and request that you pay at registration to ensure your spot for 2024.  In 2023 the event had 16 no-shows, if you can’t make it let us know ASAP, and we can try to fill your spot and refund your fees.

Note: ALL profits from this event go to Sarcoma Research at University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in honor of Bethany.
