Beth Ball
Golf Tourney
Beth Ball is held each year in honor of Bethany Huseman, who passed away in 2018 from a rare form of cancer, angiosarcoma. All proceeds from this event go to benefit Sarcoma Research at the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2023 the event raised over $37,000 and to date over $122,000.
The event is held at Emerald Hills Golf Club in Arnolds Park, IA each August, and in 2024 will be on Saturday, August 24th.
Thank you to our 2024 EVENT sponsors, Clary Lake Service/Duralift Marine, Northwest Bank/Northwest Wealth Management LLC and the Huseman Family Trust.
And due to generosity of family and supporters, all event expenses are covered. As a result, 100% of all sponsorships funds, event proceeds, auction proceeds and any donations will go directly to the University, exclusively for sarcoma research.

18 Holes
The annual Beth Ball Golf Tourney is held at the beautiful 18-hole Emerald Hills Golf Club. A favorite place for golfers for this area. The event will be a 4-person best shot format.

This event is held at the Emerald Hills Golf Club in Okoboji, IA located at 808 Highway 71 South, Arnolds Park, IA 51331. Map
Fees
$100 per player
Includes your cart, green fees, lunch, donation, participation gifts, flighting and on course prizes, and lots of fun.

Registration
Registration anytime, lunch begins at 11:30am, and shotgun start at 1:00 pm. There will be a silent auction for multiple prizes, a putting contest, and 2 hole-in-one contests.
About Beth Ball
Beth Ball was started in honor of Bethany Huseman, who passed away on August 25, 2018 after a hard fought 3-year battle with angiosarcoma. She was 36. Following her passing an impromptu golf outing to celebrate and reminisce about Bethany turned into this now annual event.
Bethany loved her family, golfing, and football. She graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 2000 and lived most of her life in the Lakes area. She had a great smile, made friends easily and had a positive impact on the many lives she touched. She enjoyed life and was …
